n-38 silk kumihimo cord

"kumihimo" is a traditional Japanese brading technique using multiple strands of fine threads. In this case, it uses 13 strands and is in 100% silk. This particular cord is a flat type called "hirauchi." Although each thread is quite fine, the cord is extremely strong. It has a very subtle elegant sheen and will dye quite well if you would like to create your own original color.
